About Me

I see my life as a stained-glass window — each shard, with its cracks and colors, tells a story of resilience, love, and growth. As a first-generation immigrant, a mother, and a cancer survivor, I carry the light of hope through every challenge. My greatest joy comes from my family, my creativity, and sharing my journey to inspire others. This space is where I celebrate life’s mosaic — imperfect, radiant, and beautifully whole.

I am a proud wife, mom, and Avô (grandma), roles that bring me endless joy and purpose. My journey began in São Miguel, Portugal, where I was born before my family migrated to the United States when I was just three years old. I grew up in Rhode Island, surrounded by community and tradition that shaped the person I am today.

Life has given me challenges, including my breast cancer journey, but it has also gifted me resilience, hope, and a renewed appreciation for every moment. As a survivor, I embrace each day with gratitude and a determination to live fully.

Traveling with my husband and family is one of my greatest passions. Whether exploring new destinations or revisiting familiar places, I cherish the memories we create together. My life is a mosaic of love, perseverance, and adventure—each piece adding color and meaning to the stained glass window of my story.
